Google Tag Manager is a tool designed to insert snippets of code for marketing tools in websites. All you need to do to use it is install the Tag Manager script in your site’s HTML, and it will help you achieve awesome things such as setting up the Facebook Pixel and its events. I know this sounds great but, what are the benefits of using this tool for your website?

1. First and foremost, it lets you insert new code into your site without needing to deploy to the hosting server every time you make a tweak or add a tag. You’re cutting costs and saving time.

2. If you’re working with a partner like Pixeron, the tech team is able to set up events online or publish changes live without needing to modify or alter the source code. Tags are run asynchronously, which means the website loads as usual.

3. If you’re setting up these tools yourself, you can test your changes before going live with the Tag Manager’s Preview mode.

4. It supports Google tools and other third-party tags such as LinkedIn Insight, Google Analytics, Quora, Pinterest Tag, Google Ads Conversions Tracking and many others.

5. Other features include version control, user roles, workspaces and backup methods. These are all helpful for managing and monitoring tasks.

6. It’s free!

As you can see, installing Google Tag Manager in your website should be one of the first steps to consider in your marketing strategy.
