One of the main pillars our company is based on is our effort to be women-centric. We focus consciously on reducing the gender gap and fighting inequality.
To achieve this, we have implemented policies that encourage women’s growth in their personal and professional lives, and we work alongside like-minded people and organizations who share our views. Laboratoria is one of these organizations.
Laboratoria is an educational startup that works for a more diverse, inclusive and competitive digital economy where all women can fulfil their potential.
Their contribution comes through an intensive, 6-month bootcamp on tech and life skills, aimed at women who want to develop their professional life. After completing the bootcamp, Laboratoria connects their students to good-quality software development and UX design jobs, where they can kick start their careers.
This is where Pixeron comes in.
We have been very lucky to build our team with Laboratoria (female) graduates, who now work as tech consultants, developers and operations/project managers.
Their experience and thirst for growth were key in our development and positioning. Relying on the minds and passion of a group of women who are true technology experts backing us has really strengthened the services and solutions we can offer our clients.
Women representation in STEM is a crucial step we need to take in the quest of closing the gender gap in tech companies such as ours. Alongside Laboratoria and their graduates, we are paving the way for a future where emerging talent can shine bright.
